DUSTON GARAGE (Bosch Service) RESERVE PREMIER DIVISION KO CUP ROUND 2
Weldon United Reserves took advantage of the home draw and got the better of Bugbrooke St Michaels ‘A’ in a 4-2 thriller, on the score sheet for Weldon were Tamba Mane, Neil McMillan, Joe Quarrington and Chris Maddon, Bugbrooke replied with strikes from Craig Frost and Tony Ferrier. Weldon now meet local rivals Corby Madisons.
Weldon Skip Hire Premier Division
Brixworth All Saints shared the points with a much improved visiting Ravensthorpe LB side, Tom Watkins got the goal for Brixworth, whilst Delany Fifield replied for the visitors 1-1. Corby Madison defeated Kislingbury 2-1, Madison had a fluke shot from Willie Thomson to take the lead, as the ball hit a divot and bounced over the Kislingburys goalkeeper head and a corner from Jason Strachan crept over the goal line where Andy Juzyk the Kislingburys lino waved his flag and gave the goal, Greg Ling replied with a consolation. With Harpole taking all three points in their 1-0 defeat of Kettering Nomads with a cracking volley from Carl Barrick which still leaves Nomads routed to the bottom of the table but improving all the time, but now Harpole stretch the lead at the top to five points with games in hand and looking for a second consecutive title. Corby Pegasus are trying to keep in touch with the league leaders, were able to take all the points in a close fought contest against Milton Drago Krunic, Liam Duffy and Steven Thain the other as they won 3-2

Russell Roofing Division One
James King Blisworth second bottom team, get the Highgrade Motors star award for putting one pass the potential league winners Weldon United in a very tight game where the goalkeepers only had a couple of saves to make, Jimmy Walker eventually put the ball in the back of the net for Blisworth but it did take 3 minutes into time added on. Mid table clash between Corby Kingfisher Athletic and Earls Barton United ended in a 0-0 stalemate. Harborough Town thrashed bottom team Crick Athletic 6-0 with goals for Dan Wright (2), Alex McMillan, Marcus Kierle, Matt Gamble and Dean Bates
Bective Wanderers share the points with Welford Victoria in their 1-1 draw Aaron Eales scored for Bective. Current leaders Medbourne, Nick Chapman and Martin Anderson struck for the hosts whilst the Corby Phoenix goal came from Stephen Millar 2-1. With the same scoreline Stanwick Rovers beat Spratton 2-1, Dean Ainsworth got the Sprattons goal.
Queen Eleanor Great Houghton were also triumphant as they won 1-0 in a close game against Wootton St George. This was their first win since they put six pass Spratton at the beginning of December, they have Gareth Errington to thank for his strike.

Finedon Volta had Clipston to thank for their 1-0 win, as an own goal was the difference between the two teams, Volta stay top as Cold Ashby Rovers were on cup duty.Burton United was put to the sword by Gretton in this 4-1 win, on target for Gretton were John Fursdon (2), David Harding and Aaron McAlindon, with Burtons goal coming from Graham Steward.
Islip United defeated visitors Ringstead Rangers 4-1, Alan Harrison and Jamie Fane got a brace each for Islip. Punjab United and Wollaston Victoria drew 1 each, strike for Punjab was Paul Hetherington and on target for Wollaston was Jay Finch.
Rothenberger Tools Division Three
Wilby
hosted Ristee Towers
and despite efforts from Greg Wilson and Simon Blee they lost 4-2, and
Ristee go back on top of the pack.
It was six of the best for Corby Danesholme Vikings, Corby Locomotives and
Wellingborough Raffertys, as they all win with the same scoreline 6-1,
Corby Locomotives put six pass Hillmorton a hat trick for James McKay and singles from Kenny Simmons, Davey Holmes and Billy Clarke with a consolation for Hillmorton coming from Michael
Papaspiliotopoulo. Corby Danesholme Vikings also put six pass Wellingborough Old Grammarians with a brace for Lee Pettigrew and Paul Kelly, Jason O’Boyle, David McIvor, Nathan Bailey with one a piece. Wellingborough Raffertys put six pass Staverton Park Rangers
Before this game Daventry Drayton Grange were top of the division but could only manage a point away to Dainite Sports in an end to end game that saw six goals and all level at 3 each.
Despite a goal from Martin Dunn Weavers Old Boys were unlucky as they went down 2-1 against Great Doddington John Digby and goal machine Brett Greenhalf took the points for Doddington.
Division Four
Corby Eagles stay top of the table with a 2-0 mauling of fourth placed Wellingborough WMC Wellingborough Rising Sun, held Corby Everards to a 2-2, on song for Rising Sun was Tony Walker(2). Kettering Park Rovers hosted CSV United and in the dying minutes stole all three points.
True to form Corby Strip Mills crushed bottom club Thrapston AFC 8-0 hitting the back of the net for Strip Mills were Mark Bradley(2), Shaun Lewis (2), Gary Norman, Stephen Harrison, Shaun Muir and a OG.
Yardley United hosted Corby Leaf and despite Jamie Burrows bagging a brace they were beaten 3-2 as Jamie Cairns (2) and Paul Braybrook got on the sheet for Leaf.
Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Reserve Premier Division
Heyford Athletic Res hosted Corby Pegasus Res but the visitors ran away 2-1 winners in this tightly fought battle, Mark Smith was on target for Heyford. Kettering Nomads Res battered poor O N Chenecks A 7-2 with a hat trick for Gary Massie a brace for Scott Downing and singles from Sean Morris and Adam Stanley.
Gretton Res get their second win of the season on their travels to Kislingbury Res as it finished 2-1 to the visitors, Gordon Brown gets the goal for Kislingbury
Harpole Res were able to take all the points in a close contest against Milton Res, Paul Emery got a couple and Kevin Richardson the other for Harpole winning 3-2. Paul Lofthouse and Richard Carter were on target for Milton.
Also with the same scoreline Moulton Res put the hard work in to see off Roade Res 3-2, a brace for Shane Roberts and a single for Adam Cadd, Roade scorers were Jonathan Freeman and Liam Chamberlain

Division One
Bugbrooke St Michael B were prolific as they over came Finedon Volta Res 6-0
With Harborough Town Res won 2-1 against Corby Locomotives Res Dean Humphrey and Dan McInnes got the goals for Harborough, Gareth McBlain got the reply.
Stanion United Res were visited by table toppers Whitefield Norpol Res and were showed up by a strong side as Adam Wittich-Jackson, Wayne Spicer, Martyn Fletcher and Jay Vierya all scored as Stanion went down 4-2.
Queen Eleanor Great Houghton Res lost 1-0 Medbourne Res Medbourne scorer was Nick Bridges
Wollaston Victoria Res drew 2-2 with Wootton St George Res on the sheet for Wollaston were Gary Roberts & James Shark as they shared the points.
Ringstead Rangers Res game against Brixworth All Saints Res was postponed as Brixworth could not field a side.
Reserve Division Two
Islip United Res defeated Daventry Drayton Grange Res 1-0
Earls Barton United Res were turned over 5-1 by Welford Victoria Res.
Darren Burgess was the only scorer for Wilby Res as they were heavily defeated 9-1 by Kettering Orchard Park Res, a hat trick for goal supremo Danny Darker, two a piece for Gary Chambers and Blaine Chester and the singles from Johnny Manning and Nick Preedy
Danite Sports Res, were well beaten 2-0 as Stanwick United Res progress up the table, as Ryan Knight puts two into the back of the Dainite net.
Wellingborough Old Grammarians Res, 3-1 .Crick Athletic Res. Scorers for Grammarians Adrian Reast (2) and Sam Meadows
Top team Weldon United A travelled to bottom team Weedon Res even though it was a 9 goal thriller it went the way of the form book with Weldon coming out 5-4 on top.
