Highgrade Motor Star Award:
Harpole for the completion of their back to back league championship, congratulations!!

WELDON SKIP HIRE PREMIER DIVISION

Despite a valiant effort from Corby Madisons, Harpole managed to clinch the title with three games to spare, Alan Campbell and Dave McShefferty got the goals for Madisons as they tried to halt the visitors` push for the championship, but goals from Dave Barrick and Scott Mills made it 2-2 and ensured the point that Harpole needed to clinch their second Premier Division Championship in as many years.   Club Secretary, Chris Winters said” We are happy to have defended last year’s title in a strong Combination.”   He went on to say that they had had a good unbeaten run where they had conceded very few goals and the defence had been strong giving good backing to an all round good side, they are now looking forward to what he hoped would be a very good cup final, however, they were taking nothing for granted.   Harpole are chasing a second double too and Chris acknowledged that Moulton are a good side with a strong set up, but hoped that Harpole could get the better of them on the night.

In the divisions other games; Heyford Athletic hosted Kettering Nomads and with goals from Mark Whitehouse and Ben Nickels beat the visitors 2-1, Craig Thurlow got the Kettering goal.
