NORTHAMPTONSHIRE FA AREA CUP 1st ROUND
Brixworth All Saints Reserves beat Northampton Thorplands 5-3 in a hard contested match.
Corby Everards played against local rivals Corby Rockingham United in an end to end game that saw Everards finally win 4-2 with goals from Ian Scullion, Chris Chalmers and a brace from Steve Harrison.
A ten goal thriller took place as Corby Strip Mills hammered Weldon United A 7-3. Mark Bradley got two; other contributors were Shaun Lewis and Ronnie Wood.
Crick Athletic Reserves were on the wrong end of a 6-1 hiding at home against Oundle Town Reserves.
Daventry Drayton Grange Reserves lost their home tie against Kettering Park Rovers 2-0.
A Ross Western hat-trick and one from Alex Broadbent were enough to make the difference as Earls Barton United Reserves were overcome 4-2 against Welford Victoria Reserves.
Finedon Volta Reserves can thank a hat-trick from Neal Piggott and a Graham Southgate brace as they were fired into the next round beating Wellingborough Grammarians Reserves 5-1.
Kettering Weekly Vale United were just beaten by goals from Wellingborough Rising Suns` Adam Mode and Tony Walker in a close 2-1 contest.
Kingscliffe Reserves lost 2-0 against Wooton St George Reserves, Joe Heavey and Ben Shelswell scoring.
Stanwick Rovers Reserves lost 3-1 away from home to Middleton Cheney Reserves, with a consolation from Carl Brown.
Northampton Wallace Hind thrashed Northampton Airflow Reserves 8-3.
Potterspury Reserves easily overcame Corby Locomotives Reserves 9-0.
In a close game Queen Eleanor Great Houghton Reserves Just managed to beat Yardley United 4-3 with a brace from Sean Miller and a goal a piece from Andy Myers and Jonny Schofield. Lee Stewart got two for the visitors and Jamie Burrows rounded off the scoring.
Ringstead Rangers Reserves, with goals from Jonny Summers (two) and Gez Donnelly made it into the next round against Northampton Harlequin Reserves 3-0.
Stanion United Reserves fell at the first fence as they went down to two goals from Whitefield Norpol Reserves` Ross Arundel, 2-0.
Thrapston AFC saw their participation in this competition end against Corby Leaf, who thanks to goals from Paul Braybrook, Brett Allen and Pepe Vaccaro won 3-1.
Wellingborough WMC were defeated 4-1 away from home against Werrington Town Reserves, mark Redden got the Wellingborough goal.
Terry McDonald scored the only goal for Wilby Reserves as they went down 5-1 at home against Peterborough Sports Reserves.
Weldon Skip Hire Premier Division
Corby Madisons took on Roade at home in a mid table clash eventually losing the contest 3-0, Roade being awarded the Highgrade Motors Star Award
Harpole hosted an eight goal thriller against Corby Pegasus, David Barrick, Daniel Surridge and Luke Chalmers scored the goals for Harpole, but Corby were too strong for their hosts running out eventual winners 5-3 with goals from Liam Duffy, Richard Chwaszcza (two), Drag Krunic and Ben Smith.
Top side Kislingbury were dominant as they beat, on paper weaker opposition Stanion United 4-0, the goals were scored by Hopper, Ryan Moss, Andy Wimpress and Richard Burston.
A brace from Ian Willis and a further goal from Mark Threadgold were enough to give Milton all the points at home against Kettering Nomads 3-0.
Moulton were on top of their game as they entertained Heyford Athletic, a classy hat-trick from Craig Cassidy and contributions from Nick Worley and Ryan Dufty saw the visitors beaten convincingly 5-2.
Whitefield Norpol were in dominant form as Ravensthorpe LB were heavily defeated 5-1. A hat-trick from Jay Vieyra and goals from Craig Cooper and David Garrett, were the main contribution to an entertaining fixture. Anthony Bandy got the only goal for the visitors.

Russell Roofing Division One
Bective Wanderers fought out a hard contested 1-1 draw against Corby Phoenix, with a goal from Adam Bushell for the hosts.
Corby Kingfisher Athletic also managed a home draw against Queen Eleanor Great Houghton in this fixture between two lower placed clubs. A home team goal from Allan Barret and a goal from Greg Jolly saw the game end 1-1.
Danny Wright scored a wonderful hat-trick and Alex McMillan came close to getting one himself with a brace, Adam Watson also scored for Harborough Town as they put visitors Welford Victoria to the sword 6-2.
In a mid table battle Medbourne convincingly took maximum points against a visiting Spratton side. Kevin Fisher, Robert Thompson, Jack Burrows and Chapman all scored as the hosts thrashed Spratton 4-0.
Ian Wake and Nick Musgrove scored for James King Blisworth as they lost away from home 4-2 against Stanwick Rovers.
Weldon United ran out 3-1 winners against Earls Barton United, with two goals from James Konerzcak and one from Steve Brydon, Tony Abbott scored for the visitors.
Michael Ryan and Lee Morris Scored as Wooton St George beat Crick Athletic 2-0.

Keystone Roofing Supplies Division Two
In a hard fought contest between two determined sides a pair from Graham Steward made the difference as Burton United beat Cold Ashby Rovers 4-2. Martin Ware and Brendan Tyrrel also scored for the hosts. Ben Sharman and Gary Burrows got the goals for the visitors.
A battle between Clipston and Wollaston Victoria ended in a stalemate as the game failed to produce any goals 0-0.
Gretton hosted Islip United and took all the spoils as Steve Chitton, Jim Wilson and Tom Nelson scored in this 3-1 victory, Adam Hope got a consolation for the visitors.
Weedon were narrowly beaten by a much higher placed visiting Punjab United, in an end to end fight, Matthew Ingram and Eddie Phelan got the home goals, but this was not quite enough as goals from Andrew Cox (two) and Warren Barry ensured the points went they way of United despite a brave fight from the home team.
Wellingborough Ranelagh played in a feisty game against a visiting Ringstead Rangers, despite the four goals there were no winners as this match ended 2-2.
A Leigh Chapman hat-trick and one from John Tarry ensured that Finedon Volta won convincingly away from home 4-0 against Wilbarston.
Division Three
Corby Locomotives were put to the sword by local rivals Corby Danesholme Vikings as the home side won by a convincing 6-1 score line. Paul Kelly got a hat-trick and David Martin, Steve Ennis and Lee Pettegrew also scored.
Ristee Towers were humbled at home as they were pipped 2-1 at home by Wellingborough Old Grammarians, giving them this week the Highgrade Motors Star Award, the home goal come from Gary Rose.
A Michael Christie brace and one from James Cruse were just enough for Staverton Park Rangers to beat Hilmorton 3-2.
Rob Barnett made it five in two games when he scored all of his teams` four goals as Dainite Sports narrowly beat hosts Wellingborough Raffertys 4-3. Home team goals came from Jamie O’Keefe, Daniel Harding and Chris Smith.
Unsurprisingly, bottom placed West Haddon went down 4-0 when top club, Daventry Drayton Grange visited.
A single goal from Simon Bee was all that was needed as Wilby beat Great Doddington 1-0 in a top 5 clash.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Reserve Premier Division
A local top of the table clash took place at Bugbrooke as St Michaels “A “ beat Heyford Athletic Reserves 3-2, Kyle Grant and Anthony Payne got the goals for Heyford.
Gretton Reserves lost 3-0 at home against James King Blisworth Reserves, with Farr Curtis and Matthews scoring.
Paul Emery scored for Harpole Reserves in a 1-1 draw against Corby Pegasus Reserves.
Kislingbury Reserves played Corby Madisons Reserves at home with P O`Rielly scoring, but this was far from enough as Joe McGloughan and Will Thompson scored and Lee Genner got a brace to win 4-1.
Gareth Hughes Scored for Milton Reserves in a 1-0 victory against O N Chenecks “A”.
Moulton Reserves narrowly lost 1-0 against table toppers Roade.
Weldon United Reserves beat Kettering Nomads Reserves 3-0.
Reserve Division One
Tony Ferrier opened the scoring for Bugbrooke St Michaels A in a local derby against neighbouring Kislingbury Reserves, the teams were at opposite ends of the table so there was plenty a stake, one a piece for Lance Allen and John Tilley meant that away goals for Franco Anzelmo and Patrick O’Connell were not quite enough as an unlucky Kislingbury were narrowly defeated 3-2.
Corby Pegasus Reserves showed that they were the better side as they beat Gretton Reserves 5-2. Jon Duffy, Joe Macan and Paul Simpson were on the score sheet for the home team as Liam and Gary Parks got one each for the visitors.
Weldon United Reserves beat Heyford Athletic Reserves 3-0.
James King Blisworth Reserves relied on the scoring of Tony Blenkinsop, Timmy Spooner and John Ryall as they made light work of beating Corby Madisons Reserves 3-0.
Anthony Cunnington was in superb form as he scored all the goals for Kettering Nomads Reserves in their 4-1 drubbing of Moulton Reserves, Craig Finnis scored a consolation.
O N Chenecks A and Harpole Reserves were unable to break the deadlock in a 0-0
draw.
James Poulton scored for Roade Reserves, but his effort was effectively cancelled out by Richardson in this 1-1 draw against Milton Reserves.
