NORTHAMPTONSHIRE FA AREA CUP 3rd ROUND
In the only cup fixture to survive the weather; Kettering Orchard Park Reserves narrowly beat Queen Eleanor Great Houghton Reserves 3-2, Mark Kelly and Nick Preedy got the Kettering goals as they were the first team confirmed in the fourth round.

Only one Premier Division fixture survived the weather; Brixworth All Saints were edged 2-1 against a very determined Whitefield Norpol, Mark Sharman scored for Brixworth, whilst, Jay Vieyra and Martyn Fletcher got the away goals.

Russell Roofing Division One
Division One only managed a single game too, Medbourne were held at home against Harborough Town, despite goals from Kevin Fisher just into the second half Medbourne gift Spencer a penalty and Kevin Fisher slots pass the keeper and Jack Burrows as strikes from Paul Lewis and Matt Gamble saw it finish 2-2.
With only seconds left Matt Gamble got the equaliser as it missed his head hits his knee and into the goal. Man of the match was the Medbourne keeper and also awards them with this weeks Highgrade Motors star award, which they would have won if there had been a full fixture list.

Keystone Roofing Supplies Division Two
Division Two only managed to keep two games, where Punjab United kept up their winning ways beating Islip United 2-0, with goals from Warren Barry and Andrew Cox. In the other game; Wellingborough Ranelagh were put to the sword by visiting Weedon, a Gavin Saunders hat-trick and an Eddie Phelan brace rounded off the scoring for the visitors, whilst Matt Judge got the Wellingborough consolation.

Again two games survived; Ristee Towers hosted Corby Locomotives, Leigh Butler got a brace for towers and Sean Wesley added another, a Daz Harrison brace was not enough for a point as locos went down 3-2.
West Haddon with goals from Neil Davies and Luke Sage, were pipped by Wellingborough Raffertys 3-2.

Kettering Weekly Vale took on CSV United and were beaten convincingly 5-1, goals came from; Simon Rowland (2) Graeme Kidd (2) and Rob Pither.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Reserve Premier Division
Kislingbury Reserves won 3-0 against Moulton Reserves, Duncan Eade Franco Anzelmo and Jeremy Hindle got the goals.

An Andrew Hiron penalty could not stop Dainite Sports Reserves going down heavily against Earls Barton United Reserves as they were thrashed 5-1 by the visitors.

Other news in the Combination this week; the league has negotiated a new sponsorship deal, which will enable the remaining un-sponsored divisions to be sponsored and will hopefully see the league renamed shortly, following registration with the county FA. The deal is an exiting prospect and will be fully reported upon once all the details have been finalised.
