Both sides started well but it was Pegasus who took an early 7th minute lead when Chris Power’s fine through ball was put away in style by Dragoslav Krunic. Pegasus then pressed for the second but despite several chances they failed to convert any of them. Pegasus continued to push forward in the second half and got the chance to increase their lead when Richard Chwaszcza was pulled down in the area. Steven Thain stepped up and made no mistake from the spot. They then made it 3-0 when a quick free kick by Ian Wood caught out the Norpol defence and Krunic again finished well to make the points safe. Norpol would not lie down though and came back strong as the hosts relaxed and scored two in the last 8 minutes to put a better look on the scoreline.
Kettering Nomads were just as unlucky in their game against Heyford Athletic, two good strikes for Adam Loake and Darren Charlsey, were not enough to give their team any points as they went down 3-2.
Roade were extremely unlucky as they were only beaten by the odd goal in their fixture with Leaders Harpole who keep a two point buffer 1-0.
