Pegasus finished November on top of the Premier Division for the first time in their history with this 1-2 victory away to Heyford Athletic, to take advantage of Milton’s draw to move into pole position.

On a bitterly cold day, Pegasus started slowly, with few chances being created, although the better ones were falling to the away side. Pegasus took the lead just before half time when, with the home side waiting for an off side flag, Dragoslav Krunic went through and rounded the keeper to put his side in front with ease.

The second half was all Pegasus as they tried to kill the game off, but a rare attack ended with Heyford equalizing as a mistake by the Pegasus keeper  allowed the home side back in with a goal from Lacoh Chimponda.  Heyford were indebted to their own keeper as he was performing heroics in goal, particularly with one outstanding save from Paul Simpson. Pegasus continued to press and thought they had taken the lead but a Richard Chwaszcza effort was ruled out for handball.

With 15 minutes to go Pegasus finally got the goal all their pressure deserved when after great work by Chwaszcza, Liam Duffy cut back the ball for Chris Power, to fire home an unstoppable shot for a deserved winner.
