Roofing Premier Division:
In a weather-disrupted fixture schedule Kislingbury missed the
opportunity to topple league-leaders Weldon, and extend their unbeaten
run to five games, with a 3-1 defeat to local rivals Harpole. A brace
from Scott Mills and a solo strike from Dave Barrick sunk their
opponents and dented their title ambitions. Weldon remain on top on goal
difference, but now have two games in hand. The result is also the first
time this season that Kislingbury have failed to beat fellow South
Northants opposition.

Clipston moved second with their fourth win in the last six games, and
managed a back-to-back double over Weedon. Simon Barby and Russ Eggleton
both scored twice and a single from Adam Stirling capped a fine 5-1
victory. Matthew Farrell netted Weedon’s consolation.

Duston Garage (Bosch Service) Reserve
Premier Division:
A miserable day for Kislingbury was completed as the Reserves imitated
their first team counterparts. Knowing a win would put them top of the
table, they slumped to defeat at home to Kettering Nomads, by the same
3-1 score line. Kislingbury have now dropped four points in back-to-back
games with Nomads, damaging their title hopes. Leaders Whitefield, like
Weldon, now have two games in hands over the South Northants side.
